| Project Overview AMOS has built a deep insight into managing projects of BPO nature. One of the key projects with AMOS is a Business Process Outsourcing project called the "Competitive Research Services (CRS)" for a firm based in Bristol. This project is for the insurance industry vertical in UK and mainly involves an intense online research and data collection from various insurance companies. The quality of this data is of an utmost importance to the clients as it is used for deriving analytics, trends and patterns to assist underwriters and actuaries. AMOS back office in Pakistan has developed a Centre of Excellence to conduct such work and have become a Partner of choice for this client. It is a unique concept in transaction processing and a very high volume of data is required for analyzing the price strategy, pricing trends and metrics for key players in the UK Insurance industry. A large volume of verified data has to be collected online, recorded and saved. We have developed a customized software solution specifically built to cater to the unique requirements of this project. This data has to be validated and verified using various statistical analysis through specialized Quality Control techniques. The key to the project is the specialized project planning, scheduling and monitoring of data collection as the data is collected and analyzed in real-time scenarios.Specialized project management methodologies are used to achieve the following:

Each of the above areas is individually monitored through various project monitoring techniques. Daily updates are sent to the client. Weekly reviews, daily operational reviews, planned vs. actual target monitoring are some of the aspects of this project where wider project management methodologies are used. Operations Management and Data Collection This involves the actual data collection process that includes the overall operations management. The data of various insurance companies is collected online using the predefined risks which are run month on month for historical data. All the data is collected and recorded in custom-built software. This software was designed and developed in-house to cater to the complexities of data collection against rules and predefined risks. Historical data warehouse is also available within the database. A unique feature of this data collection software is a paper-free environment as the research agents have the risks/profiles information available within the software. Quality Control (QC), Verification and Validation of Data The data is then analyzed and checked for quality and precision according to the predefined risks using statistical formulas and QC views available in the software. Specialized analysts have been trained to analyze trends and data patterns apart from the routine verification and validation of the data. Reporting and Data Delivery The finalized data is then reported in specific defined formats and sent to the client. There are also various online views of data and quality processes available for the client to view. Other Aspects of Project Management various aspects of the project mentioned so far are just an outline of how the project is planned, monitored and executed. There are however, various elements that make the implementation of the defined processes possible. Here is a list of the various functions of the project that the Project Manager has to follow to manage this project: Human Resource Management Recruit, train and develop staff within multitude of teams and products. Design performance evaluation framework, Manage employee satisfaction and motivation surveys, Design corporate rewards and Incentives scheme. Client Relationship Management Define the roadmap for future project developments including online real time reporting, Business Intelligence solutions and Predictive data analytics for delivering highest quality work products to the client.
